Without meaning there can be no purpose

In today’s service we are going to look at the meaning and purpose of Baptism beginning from the Old Testament then journeying through the New Testament. We will see the importance of it in God’s relationship with us as we journey through life together. We will look at what stage of the relationship it needs to take place and also the fear we can have in seeing some people coming and wanting to be Baptised. We question sometimes are they too young, are they ready, or do they really understand what it means to be baptised. We can sometimes feel that God needs us to protect His spiritual institutions and image. I pray that today we can examine these things and that it helps us to process the information the Bible has.
