Following The Thread

Have you had a thread hanging out of your garment as a child and your mother said, “ don’t pull on that”, but you couldn’t help yourself and you pulled it anyway. It did end well did it. You end up with a cranky mother and a ruined garment.
The Bible is like that, however In reverse. The writers of the gospels, especially John, want us to pull on the threads in their writings because when we do an unveiling takes place. We see a picture or an image of God that he needs to understand. In the book of revelation, John uses the word “Apocalypse”, which sounds kind of scary. However in Hebrew the word actually means an “unveiling”. To reveal the message of the method, ministry and mission of Jesus.
